Lakeside Park
Thessalon’s Lakeside Park is situated right across from the beach and sits under the shade of 200 year-old white pine trees. The view of the lake is spectacular, making this one of the best places to take a break or to spend the camping season along the North Shore.
Both full-service and tent sites, each with a picnic table, are available. Amenities include pay-phone, newly renovated washroom and shower facilities with wheelchair accessible stalls. A laundromat and restaurants are steps away.
There is a dump site in the park and fire pits are available with firewood sold on-site. The grounds are manicured with two baseball diamonds, beach volleyball, and a full playground that is inspected regularly. Quiet time in the park is at 10 p.m.
