Thessalon Community Days: Thessalon’s biggest summer event is the August long-weekend as families reunite to compete in a town-wide baseball tournament. The weekend includes a street dance, fish fry, parade and a spectacular fireworks display put on by Windsor Ontario's K and H Fireworks.
In the fall, Thessalon is very close to some great art studio tours, The Deer Trail www.deertrailstudiotour.com and the Sylvan Valley Circle Tour www.sylvancircle.ca.
Winter is time for snowmobilers to run up and down the river and onto the hundreds of kilometers of trail that surround the town. The town arena is open for public skating a couple of times a week along with a busy hockey schedule. Curling is on in full swing at the rink next door.
Year round, townspeople make their own fun. Join them to catch a children’s movie on the big screen at the United Church once a month.
